Ray the Otter: Make Some Noise

Description

A fancomic featuring the characters (well, a character) from Stu Munro's mind-bogglingly offensive and completely unsuitable webcomic Ray the Otter.

THE LONG AND BORING STORY OF THIS STRIP

As you can tell by the date next to my signature, this picture is quite old. I originally drew it as a followup to a guest strip I'd already submitted to, and got published on, the website. Fortunately, when I informed Stu of my intentions to draw that one, he followed me on Twitter so I could DM the finished article to him.

Unfortunately, he then unfollowed me again, which meant I couldn't DM the second one. As the quickest possible solution, I DM'd it to one of his friends instead and asked him to pass it on. However, it seems Stu never received it. (Or maybe he did receive it and didn't think it was very funny.)

Anyway, since I was trying to keep the strip's existence a secret until Stu announced it himself, I tried to follow this up a few times, but when the Ray the Otter site updated with a new guest strip and it wasn't mine, I knew it definitely wasn't going to make it.

My next stage was going to be making more direct, and public, enquiries straight to Stu. Then, with my trademark terrible timing, I left a facetious comment on one of Stu's tweets (unrelated to this matter), which he took the wrong way, or misunderstood, and blocked me. (Or maybe he did understand it and didn't think it was very funny.)

Since asking for favours was clearly out of the question at that point, I resolved to publish the strip myself. Whereupon I promptly procrastinated about it for a further month. But anyway, here it is at last. Hopefully it'll at least bring laughter to some people, or preferably not, you sick bastards, you.
